According to the law of nature, after the incubation period the eggs will hatch into chickens. In similarity to the growth cycle of human race, the mother hen raises, feeds and protects her young. She further teaches them how to struggle for survival, the sequence of which was put into words by Master Grianggrai Boontaganon and inscribed on the wall of the Mother Hen Pavilion as follows:
- Mother Hen Pavilion:
- Bringing up her young, teaching them so that they will become scholars
- Mother Hen Pagoda:
- When her young become scholars, a paintbrush is used to write a passage on the cloud (A paintbrush is of a tall shape like a pagoda)
